So you think you got what it takes to ride with Shawnee Fire & Rescue!

STEP 1:

  • Download, fill out the application

Membership Application

STEP 2:

  • Email your  completed application back to membership@shawneefireco.org or come by the station to Submit Application to the Membership Committee
  • While your there take a tour of the facility
  • Membership committee will review application and contact you for the initial interview

STEP 3:

  • Attend Membership  meeting first Thursday of the Month.
  • Members will vote you in for a 30 day probation period

STEP 4:

During your 30 days:

  • Hang around station, get to know the staff and see if the EMS\Fire lifestyle fits you
  • Ask questions
  • Learn about the Wagon, Engine, Medic units, and administrative duties.
  • Help with fundraising (bingo) twice during the month

STEP 5:

Attend Membership meeting first Thursday of the Month.

  • Members will vote you onto a 6 month Probationary
    period.

STEP 6:

LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!
